Delivery and returns
Digital books
As soon as you approve your book, we email you a link to your flipbook and a PDF to keep. It usually takes a few minutes. If it hasn't arrived within an hour, check your spam folder, then get in touch.
Printed books
Printed books are made to order after you approve them, and printed in whichever of our five regions is closest to the delivery address. That means no long journeys and no customs charges for the person receiving it. Every printed order includes the digital book too, so there's always something to give on the day.
| Delivering to | Cost and time |
|---|---|
| United Kingdom | £4.99, 7 to 9 working days |
| United States | US$14.99, 8 to 12 working days |
| European Union | Order from our Etsy shop for now, 8 to 12 working days |
| Canada | CA$17.99, 9 to 14 working days |
| Australia | A$19.99, 9 to 14 working days |
For now, books going to the EU are ordered from our Etsy shop, which handles EU tax. Etsy's message after you order links you back here to make your book.
Times include printing. We'll email you when your book is on its way.
Changing your mind
Because every book is personalised, we can't take returns or give refunds if you simply change your mind. This is the same for any personalised item, and the law allows it. Printing starts soon after you approve, so if you need to cancel, contact us straight away and we'll stop it if it hasn't started.
Digital books can't be returned once you've opened them, because by then you have the whole book. You agree to this when you approve it.
If something goes wrong
If your book arrives damaged, is printed wrongly, or never arrives, tell us within 30 days of delivery (or of the expected delivery date) and we'll reprint it free or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. A photo helps us sort it out quickly.
We print exactly what you approve, so please check names, dates and spelling before you approve your book. We can't reprint for mistakes in the approved text, but get in touch anyway and we'll see what we can do.
Your legal rights
None of this affects your legal rights. In the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 means what you buy must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Customers in other countries keep the protections their own laws give them.
